Field Service Technician

Fast growing company has an open position for an Automotive Equipment Field Service Technician, in any metropolitan city. This position's primary purpose is to perform maintenance, repair and installation of automotive service equipment (i.e. automotive lifts, brake lathes, wheel balancers, air compressors, etc.). The technician may also be asked to take a lift inspector’s certification test in order to do routine lift inspections.

***We DO NOT work on Vehicles***

 

Who are we looking for?

  • A self-starter who can complete duties on your own
  • Willing to visit repair shops and introduce yourself to build the business
  • The ability to convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to our customers
  • Someone with mechanical skills and good with automotive tools
  • Comfortable working on a schedule with little oversight
  • A quick learner and organized
  • Comfortable using technology
  • Work effectively under time constraints
  • Work as a team to keep customers happy
  • Previous experience with automotive equipment is a plus but no equipment repair or sales experience is necessary, we can train you.

 

What is required?

  • Clear English speaking is a must
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
  • A valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Must provide basic hand tools (company provides job specific tools)
  • Daily travel inside a protected territory
  • Live in general area of assigned territory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – non production $50.00 – production

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
